Unfortunately my composite input of the Hauppage HVR-1300 card doesn´t work.
I have assigned a channel and have selected various inputs, e. g. unter "External", "received by TV-card" or "received by settop box".
I assume that "RGB" of the settop box menue means the composite input. But if I select this it doesn´t store the setting. The field is empty when I open again.
Then I have assigned the channel to Video Capture Card (the HVR is a hybrid card). That is all I could do so far.
The maximum I have achieved with all my trials is that the Composite input works, after I switched the channel forth and back, but only for about 1 minute and then freezes with error "no input".
P. S. I am using a German version. Therefore the terminology might not always correspond correctly.
Thanks for any help. I like the look of MediPortal and I would really hope I can use it for my receiving my encrypted channels of the external sat receiver.
