configuration.exe crash (1 Viewer)

I have MediaPortal 2 with the patch (installed exactly how is described in the wiki).
The first time i started MediaPortal the wizard worked fine. Now if I run Setup MediaPortal, configuration.exe crashes, with "configuration.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" message box error.
With rc4 version didn't happend.
Any ideas?

can you also take a look in the configuration.log file straight after a crash? The location is /Log/ in your MP directory.

There will probably be much more information there and in the error.log and mediaportal.log.

there is no configuration log. The only log in log directory is MediaPortal.log:

OK, I had some direct inoput issues as well a short while ago.
I can't reemmber what I did to fix it though (d'oh).
Maybe try moving/deleting/renaming your mediaportal.xls file and then try configuration again?

Ok, when it crashes on Indentificativo errore (which means something how you identify the error) it tells me this:

You were refereeing to mediaportal.xml, right? Did that. And yes, the wizard works first time, but after this I can't start setup mediaportal, aka configuration.exe.

try deleting the xml file and then run config, not the wizard. Go to the direct input plugin and try disabling that.

I know this sounds simple, but as this has gone on for days, what happens if you uninstall MP, delete the mediaportal folder. and then reinstall 0.2 with 0.2.0.3 update and then configure afterwards.

Did that so many times. If I run configuration.exe after I delete MediaPortal.xml starts the wizard, the MediaPortal Settings Wizard. I did actually disable direct input but nothing happend.
