Configuration: Movie DB lost coverart if movie name changes (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 0.2.3 RC2 svn--10-07-2007--01-02-Rev16128
Windows Version: XP Pro SP2

Error Description:
0- Started Configuration with empty Movie DB
1- Go to Movie Database / Editor
2- Do a manual lookup for "ice age"
3- Select "Ice Age: The Meltdown"
(movie info correctly downloaded, movie coverart correctly downloaded)
4- Change movie name to italian: "L'Era Glaciale 2: Il Disgelo"
5- Click "Save"
(movie name in "Title" ComboBox correctly updated)
6- Go to "Coverart" tab
ERR- Coverart missing
7- Click "Download"
(coverart correctly re-downloaded)
8- Go to "Title" tab
9- Click "Save"
(now movie info + coverart correctly saved)

Not completely the same issue as you reported, but I had a related annoyance, that in case you move a movie to another directory, the videodatabase also was not 'smart' for this.

At that time I wrote a patch for this and submitted it into the patch-queue. Upto today this is never picked up by the developpers.
