In the past, MediaPortal 0.2.3.0, running under Windows XP, and Vista I was able to get TV on my computer monitor via a Hauppauge PVR 150. After upgrading to newer version I no longer used MediaPortal as a source for viewing/recording television.

Now, with MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC3 running on Windows 7 Pro, I find myself once again wanting to view/record television. I am able to get a TV signal via MCE but not via MediaPortal. My connection is: Bell Satellite connected to a DVR via s-video/composite cables, then from the DVR to the Hauppauge PVR 150 also via s-video/composite cables. Thus, I am not using a coaxial cable to deliver the signal to the Hauppauge card.

What I am trying to find out is how-to configure the TV-Server for a s-video connection? I have tried clicking the add s-video channels button which it adds four channels; CVBS#1, CVBS#2, SVHS#1, and SVHS#2... When I then click on the preview button neither of these added channels are able to connect.

I have tried reverting back to my old version, 0.2.3.0, and am not able to get this to work any longer. Is this a Windows 7 issue? I do not beleave it is as MCE does work.

Any help, suggestions, are greatly appreciated.

Under TV Channels click the "Add" button, Enter a name for your channel, Select the "Analog" tab and specify the "Video Source" and "Audio Source" as "SVHS#1" and "Automatic". Now do the same for all your channels..
