Hey,
I'm using the Hauppauge MCE remote control kit.
Click here for a image of it
The remote is working fine for Windows and MediaPortal.
Now i want to change the mapping of the remote, because the "Power-Button is used to activate the standby-mode.
I just want to configure it to exit the current window.
I searched on the internet for a solution and found a lot of old threads. people edited the irremote.ini to solve their mapping problems.
Ok i looked into the irremote.ini it but that overtaxed me. 1683 lines code.
But i found out that the "general mapping" is configured in "[Default]". So i searched for the "Power-Button" in [Default] and found the following line:
i changed that entry but my remote keeps on activating standby-mode.
So my question is how can i change the mapping of my remote in general (windows)!?
I attached my irremote.ini, would be nice if you have a look at it.
I'm grateful for every post!
greets from germany
/ p.s. sorry for my bad english

isn't the power button? it is not configured to activate the standby-mode.GRNPOWER={run(C:\windows\ehome\ehshell.exe)}
