Confused with fanart (1 Viewer)

Ok, so animations/movies/somepicture.png gets shown (randomly if chosen) when i select
a) a item in basic home that has been set to show movie fanart
b) somewhere else?

It looks cool, and I like it. But what about the tv series specific fanart, they are laid out so that the image is on the left only. How am i supposed to use these?

If i put them in the animations/tv/ folder, they get displayed when i select 'tv' or 'tv series' in basichome, and they look ridiculous.

Could someone please write some tutorials on the subject.

You have to use fanart that covers the whole screen. Its that simple. The only way to use those backgrounds you have that looks, in your words, "ridiculous", is to manually edit them yourself.

Yes I know and read up on this and the tv fanart is a function of the TVSeries plugin, which clears it up.

All this data should be really gathered somewhere

And as a separate question, anyone have a link to 1080p backdrop fanart collections, the ones from meedios forums are dead links sadly :/
