Hi,
I've got a lot of old entries which stays into my musicdatabase since i've done a complete rescan of the database.
If I mannually edit the database (by sqlitebrowser), I can find double entries into "tracks table" pointing on the same file. This is probably due to the fact that I've updated a big part of the IDtags to make my music library more complete.
The only work around that I've found until now is to erase all entries into the "tracks table" which are double. I do that with the sql cmd : DELETE FROM tracks WHERE strArtist = "| artistname |" and than make a new complete rescan of the database (by the MP config menu).
This is a long and high-risk work into the database!
Is there any way into MP config to delete all entries into the musicdatase to make sure that the database is totally clean before a new scan?
Thanks for the answers.
Tibo
