connecting to sql (1 Viewer)

sorry, im new at this, so i dont know if im in the right place. im trying to cofigure tv and it says under microsoft sql 2005 that it needs a host name, user id, and p/w. i dont know any of these. i tryed to use mysql 5 but it asks basicly the same thing. can some one please help me connect to one of these? i,ve checked the site, bug reports, faq,s and manual and cant find anything that works. i,ve been at this a week and i dont get it. HELP!

The mySQL username / password will default to root / MediaPortal (not case)
for host just use localhost

This should have all been setup for you though when you installed. You should just need the password

i tryed localhost for host name, it said invalid. i will post logs, maybe some answer is there. thank you!
