MediaPortal Version: 1.2.0 BETA
MediaPortal Skin: StreamedMP v1.6.6.2799
Windows Version: Windows 7 Professional (64 Bit) + Service Pack 1
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X 1024MB GDDR5
Video Card Driver: Catalyst Control Center Version 11.6
MPEG2 Video Codec: FFDShow Video Decoder
MPEG2 Audio Codec: FFDShow Audio Decoder
h.264 Video Codec: CoreAVC® 2.5.5
Hello!
If I want to play a video with CoreAVC (mainly h.264 encoded) and DXVA enabled which got any kind of subtitle stream MediaPortal crashes with a runtime error. (see attached Screenshot)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Use CoreAVC 2.5.5 and an ATI graphic card and enable DXVA in CoreAVC configuration.
2. Open a video/movie file inside MediaPortal which uses CoreAVC and got subtitle stream(s)
3. MediaPortal crashes
I made some more tests:
CoreAVC + DXVA + ANY subtitles = crash (runtime error)
CoreAVC + DXVA + NO subtitles = working as expected
CoreAVC + DXVA disabled + subtitles = working as expected
I tested this also with my nvidia card in my laptop (GeForce 9600M GT) and there are no problems at all with subtitles in videos no matter if CUDA or DXVA is enabled in the CoreAVC Configuration.
With MediaPortal 1.2.0 ALPHA there were no crashes under the same circumstances.
After the crash I see an error.log (attached)
Thanks!
