Codecs CoreAVC 2.5 codec not working in MePo (1 Viewer)

I just got an email about the release of CoreAVC 2.5, and thought i would try it out.

My H.264 .mkv's play fine in WMP12 (and CoreAVC is being used), but nothing will play in MediaPortal.

Any ideas? I have reverted to 2.0 for now

It should work with their service release 2.5.1 (they messed up badly with 2.5.0)
