I have found that video playback of some videos became corrupted after updating to ATI Cat 10.2. It seems to mostly affect 480p videos but I had a few h264 encodes that had the same issue. The video basically displays blocky artifacting during the duration of the file.
I have tested using the MPC-HC and FFDSHOW decoders with the same results. It only seems to occur during DXVA playback and only with specific files. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I have seen some reports online of similar problems. I eventually downgraded back to 10.1 and the issue went away.
I am bringing this up now because RC2 has removed the ATI flicker fix due to better support in Cat 10.2+ and I do not know what the effect will be. Hopefully ATI fixes this issue in 10.4.
