I've installed media portal this afternoon, i've always used media center but wanted to try this now. Because of the more options, and ISO support.
I have got a lot of trouble:
- When ik watch tv, the quality is poor. But the hardware is completly the same as when i used media center. Then the quality was way better. Any one got any tips?
- EPG is not working, i've used TV Server for my channel that worked fine. Then i've selected the correct language in the epg menu. But all the epg says is "No information to display".
- media portal shows my iso and dvr-ms but doesn't play them.
What also happens a lot, is when i open my tv the preview screen shows tv (sort of startup mode, not good quality yet. After couple a seconds it looks good) but when ik press it for full screen the screen stays black but i can hear the sound.
I've installed ffdshow tryout and powerDVD. My tvcard is a hauppage MCE500. Rest of my system is not that important i think.
Anyone how can help me? Pfff liked this in the beginning but even the simple stuff doesn't work yet....
