Hi,

Have just started a build on G-byte GA-MA69GM based HTPC in a Antec Fusion Case, first problem I have run into is the Arctic Freezer 64 pro heatsink I bought is to high for the case.

I'm a little worried about getting something else as there are 5 large capacitors running along side the cpu.

I had looked at this

any other ideas greatly appreciated.

Alan.

I've ordered one, so hope it fits.

You can remove the fan ...
Is it possibly to use it passively, I'm using a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Socket AM2

    Thanks for the replies.

I am running passive with an AMD X2 6000+ I also replaced the stock 120mm fans with Scythe versions. I only noticed a few degrees under load difference in testing without the fan on the heatsink. In all fairness, the fan isn't that loud anyway.
