I've been using MediaPortal for a while with TV Engine. I've only recently installed my Hauppauge Nova-S DVB-S card and configured it in TV server. Did channel scans, and previewed channels in TV Server configuration. Everything works great there.
However, now when I launch MediaPortal my CPU usage is immediately 50%, even with absolutely nothing playing.
Process explorer shows the following thread stack as using the most CPU:

The problem was because of MP-TVSeries 537. Once I disabled the plug-in my CPU usage is back to normal.
