crash in genral setup (1 Viewer)

MP starts without problems, TV card recognized, TV mode works more or less (some pay channels don't)
However, in general setup, setup wizzard, after setting the Astra 19.2 sat, MP crashes. It shows some channels for a fraction of a second before it crashes.

Display problems

The crash described earlier still happens when I run the setup wizard in the settings section while running MP. However it seem to be no problem, I did a fresh (re)install and got most of it working. I am very impressed by the GUI and the functionality of MP! What a great programm!!
However, now my main problem lies in the display. When I start in full screen mode I cannot down size and when I start in a window I cannot get it to full screen. I both cases MP freezes most of the time, especially if TV is on.
I have a connection to the TV screen with a monitor cable (analog VGA). With Mytheatre and Showshifter which I used before, the TV screen displayed only the video content or the GUI, not the desktop. With MP I can only get the desktop, so when I want to watch it on the TV I have to use full screen mode and I cannot use the computer anymore ( for other things). I fear it has to do with the low end graphics card or so (ATI Mobility 1300). Is there a solution for this?
