creative audigy 2 remote?? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have an audigy 2 soundcard and was told any infra red remote will work with mediaportal. Is there a way I can program this remote to function with mediaportal?

If the receiver plugs directly into a connection on the sound card, recommend forget it, as controls go via sound card driver.
If it plugs into a usb connection, use either girder or hip to program it to use mp.

8) Been there, done it, and failed miserably. Hence ms remote.
