Hi, there,

has anybody experience with the Creatix ctx1924 PCIe DVB-S2 Card? Can I install two of this card in one HTPC? I have the ASRock K10N78 Standard Board with two PCIe Slots.

Hi ich hab das gleiche Problem unter windows 7 MCE, kein sender wird gefunden.

DVB-T geht aber. Ich hab irgendwo gelesen das einige dieser Karten nur in Medion PC arbeiten da nur dort der Steckplatz irgendwie modifiziert ist. Keine Ahnung ob das auch fuer diese Karte gilt.

I have the same problem, no signal but I used Windows 7 MCE.

DVB-T Signal is working. I read somewhere that these cards are specialy designed for the ports of a Medion PC only. May thats the problem, I don't use a Medion PC.

now I have some experiences with this card and I can tell everyone that this card is the worst DVB-S card I ever had. It has the worst signal and the longest channel switching time of all cards I ever tested.

I've installed it in my HTPC. I have a 80cm SAT with a quad LNB. At the same connection with the same cable says this card only a signal quality of about 60% but all other cards, e.g. Hauppauge 4000 or Creatix 929 a quality of 100%.

On a small Mobil Sat Connection this card has no signal but the 929 card has 100% and works fine.

I think I will exchange this card asap.

DVB-T works fine but it's not in my opinion.

Ich konnte nun einige Erfahrungen mit dieser Karte sammeln und kann nur davon abraten. Sie hat den schlechtesten Empfaenger und die laengste Umschaltzeit, die ich je bei einer Karte erlebt habe.
An meiner sauber ausgerichteten 80cm Schuessel habe ich gerade mal mittlere 60% Qualitaet und 6 Transponder koennen gar nicht empfangen werden und an meiner mobilen SAT Anlage im Wohnwagen funktioniert diese Karte gar nicht mehr, waehrend die Zweitkarte (derzeit eine Creatix 929) 100% Qualitaet meldet und einwandfrei funktioniert.

Also: Finger weg von diesem Muell (meine Meinung, basierend auf meinen schlechten Erfahrungen).

back home I have further problems with this card. In S2 Tuning mode the card has every 5 minutes a short streaming interruption and so I have rectangles in my picture and a short sound silence.

It makes not really happy :-(

zurueck zu hause habe ich auch noch das problem, dass bei s2 kanaele die karte ca. alle 5 minuten kurze Aussetzer erzeugt.
Alles in allem nicht sehr gluecklich. :-(
