Hi

I have just compiled MediaPortal 1.2, current SVN, 21-04-11.
And I'm having problems with my Hauppauge HVR-4000 tuner, I'm getting graph problems,
and is unable to search for channels.
TV-Server find the card just fine...

After removing MP 1.2 svn, and installed MP 1.2 (1.1.5 Alpha), the database was broken.
- have to reinstall MySQL, to get the Alpha working again.

I have just compiled the newest SVN (today's)
The same problem, I can't search for channels, BuildGraph failed.




Config is:
New installed MySQL
Clean MP+server installed
Hauppauge HVR-4000 tuner

Hi there

You're missing the TsWriter filter. Did you also compile the DirectShowFilters project, or only the TV Engine?

There are a handful of filters (TsWriter, MPFileWriter, MPIPTVSource, PDMpgMux, TsMuxer) that come from the DirectShowFilters project. They have to be placed (and registered using regsvr32???) in the TV Server install folder before TV Server can work...

Also its very important that you install the VC 2010 dist from microsoft before you install mediaportal. Otherwise you will get the same type of problems.

I have tryed bulding with: "MSBUILD_Rebuild_Release_TVServer_Client.bat"

After install, all files "TsWriter.ax, MPFileWriter.ax, MPIPTVSource.ax, PDMpgMux.ax, TsMuxer.ax"
are in the Media Portal TV Server folder.

All files are also in the
DirectShowFilters debug bins folders

But i'm not able to compile DirectShowFilters, VS 2010 failed to build 9 of 15...

Did you do as suggested by me?

install vc 2010 dist and reinstall SVN build.
