The topic says it all.
MP allows you to select your preferable MPEG2 CODEC, but on the others you are on your own (based on merits or whatever).
Why not extend this to ALL kinds of audio/video?
(and since I opened the subject) You seem to use/prefer Gabest's CODECs for MPEG2, yet, MPClassic seems to play MORE (and better) stuff than MP internal player. (at least on my machine) How come?
