[cvs-01-27-2006--01-04] wrong frequencies are tuned in my TV (1 Viewer)

cvs-01-17-2006--01-06 was the last version with which I could use my TV without problems. I'm using mp now for more than one year with that hardware. To add the TV channels I just needed to enter a name and the channel number.

After cvs-01-17-2006--01-06 I get no signal (snow) on the most channels. When I enter the frequency in the analog tab of the TV channels it works again. But it should work without entering the frequency, because the used frequencies are default.

Settings:
Input source = cable
Country = Germany

Some channels:
No. 1 -> ARD -> channel 1 (K2) -> frequency 48,250
No. 2 -> ZDF -> channel 4 (K4) -> frequency 62,250
...
No. 33 -> Antenne West -> channel 19 (S10) -> frequency 168,250
No. 34 -> 1-2-3.tv -> channel 42 -> frequency 0 (set to 0 to show that this channel is tuned wrong, frequency should be 335,250!!!)

Channel 42 with frequency 335,250 is tuned to 639,25 MHz and has NoSignal. The channels work only from 1 to 4, for all the others I need to change the default frequency of "0" to the real frequency to get them to work.

dman_lfc told me that his pvr 250 would work fine. So this could be a country specific problem.

I have a similiar problem. After applying a CVS I get video on channels 2-13 but after that it is snow. I need to go through and auto tune to get the rest of my channels.

Hi,

I can confirm this one for germany / analog / cable. PVR 150 and PVR 350.

Leaving the frequency at 0 MP tunes wrong. This happens since CVS of 18.01.2006.

There is a bug in TVCaptureDevice class in the current CVS which makes tuner always work in "Antenna" mode, even if you configured "Cable" in setup. I think this might have caused your problem.

Hint to developer: Constructors do not get called during deserialization, you will need to implement IDeserializationCallback in order to initialize non-serialized fields (like _isAnalogCable).
