CVS download problem (1 Viewer)

hi, when i try to download the latest CVS described in the "plugin howto" (https://www.team-mediaportal.com/articles/howtos/how_to_write_a_plugin.html) I encounter this message:

cvs -d server;username=anonymous;hostname=cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/mediaportal checkout -P -- mediaportal (in directory C:\MediaPortal)

cvs [checkout aborted]: connect to cvs.sourceforge.net:2401 failed: Det ble forsøkt en kontaktoperasjon til en vert som ikke kan nås.

Any idea? Have tried to disable firewall and all that.
