Same problem

I got the same problem. I have tried with Daemon tools v. 3.46 and v3.44. Neither of them work. Well.. Daemon tools works, but MP wont mount the iso-file. If I manually mount a iso-file before entering MP. Then the movie will start, no matter which iso-file I choose to play.

Any more ideas what can be wrong...?

    No. problems here with 4.0.

I don´t thing this is the problem, but uncheck the secure mode setting in deamontools options menu. This will remove the warnings messages when mounting a movie in MP.

Darn this is annoying. Okey, installed Daemon Tools v4.03 now. Still the same problem even when I uncheck the "Secure mode". Anyone with any other idea that I might try?

As for now, I made a workaround.. Im using VLC instead as a external player... But I really like to get daemon tools to work instead..

What are your Virtual Drive and Drive Number settings in MP-Setup?

I had the same behavior in MP when I tried it the first time, because I had one virtual drive but my Drive Number set to '1' ( hey, I'm human. I count from 1 :D ).

Changed Drive Number to '0' and everything worked fine.

Wow... Finally, now its working for me too...
Ofcourse (If your are a computer) it should be '0' instead of '1'... Since Daemon tools names one Virtual device as 'Device 0'....

As we say in sweden "Klart som korvspad"...
