Database Backup/Import (1 Viewer)

Thanks for this great plugin it works a treat!

Not sure if this is the right place to be posting this or if i should put it in the main support forum but anyway....

What i want to be able to do is export the MyTV-Series database and all the required files and then be able to re-import them later

for example yesterday i upgraded from media portal 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 and found that all my settings had been removed, including all my plugins and skins ect ect. This isnt such a big deal as i have set these up many times and im pretty quick at it, only thing that does take a while is downloading the TV Banners and details and reimporting all the files into the database

Is there anyway to backup the MyTV-Series database and associated files so I can re-import them after I do an upgrade or reinstall?

Im also having the same problem with MovingPictures, but thats for another forum...

Simply make a backup of your Thumbs directory and your TVSeries/MovingPictures databases.

where abouts do i find these folders? are they in the c:\program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal directory?

or are they in my c:\users\all users\?

I didn't find the above mentioned locations, are these locations version dependet ?

Operating System dependent.

For WinXP: C:\ProgramData\=C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\
