database logon - I need a little bit help (1 Viewer)

Yesterday I`d a download of the mediaportal software. Sorry, but I can`t get tv on my pc. I think, the >>setup database connection<< ist the problem.
Connections settings are >>microsoft sql server<< an d >>My SQL 5<<. Default (or preset?) is >>Microsoft SQL Server<<.
Connection Host Nr. is duncki01-PC/SQLEXPRESS
Dependency is SQL Browser
Schema name is MpTvDb

But the database logon is problematically - I hope it`s correct written.

User ID - default or preset is >>sa<<
Password - How will I get a passwort?

I hope you have understand my problem.

but there is another problem:

I can`t get a tv stream. Why?

I want to have free television - no pay tv!

My tv-card is a dvb-t stick from pinnacle 72e.
- PCTV DVB-T Stick (72e)

Does the program not confirm with my dvb-t stick?

Have you configured your TV-card in the TV-Server configuration? Sorry I cant help if you don't tell me exactly what you have already done. Also have you followed the steps in the MediaPortal wiki?
