Could the Media Portal wizard ask to specify a Recordings folder the same way it does with Music and Pictures?
Recordings are put in the My Documents subfolder by default.
I don't know what others do, but I prefer not to put too much on the c: drive.
I forgot about it with my last install, because the wizard has improved so much, and filled up my c: drive in no time!
The other thing that would be nice is to have all TV channels mapped to all TV cards when the initial scan is done, instead of only the first found card.
I also forgot this and had to return to the setup to manually map them.
These are only minor gripes with just about the best app I've ever used.
