fixed sql tv server logon issue after searching and searching for a day or so, I finally downloaded SQL Server Mangement Studio Express from Microsoft Download details: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express This allowed me to easily figure out how to reset the password for user 'sa' Open SQL Server Mangement Studio Express Open 'your computer name\SQLEXPRESS Open Security folder Open Login folder Open user 'sa' retype password MediaPortal hit enter Go back to TV Server Config and open TYPE password MediaPortal hit enter at this point I new I did right cause it said it wanted to login, but user 'sa' was disabled so now go back to the screen where you opened user 'sa' in the upper left hand corner there is a prompt to 'Select page' Click the page 'Status' once opened, you will see Login enabled or disabled. Select enabled click ok Login to TV Server Config. I'm in----:) Next Problem I found was my Hybrid tuner Card was not loading as a Hybrid, but only as analog I found out why. I use Comcast Cable to recieve a digital signal. When TV Server scan for channels it only picked up Analog channels. At first I thought something was wrong. then I learned through Wikipedia and the folks at AVerMedia that cable companies use QAM to send out a signal. QAM is capable of sending out both Analog and Digital signals. My tuner card is good for Analog and ATSC, but not QAM compatible. So it picks up analog signals. ATSC and Digital Cable 'QAM' are not the same. So in order for me to get the digital cable I need to get a new card. My current card is a pci express mini card specially tailored for an HP-all-in-one desk top. I have no open slots, so I either have to go USB or find a card to replace the existing one. Haven't found a card yet. Anyway that's my story, hope it helps someone out there. -aa
