Default view not sticking? (1 Viewer)

I would like to use categories as my default view. Whenever I select it in the configuration, my first visit afterwards will indeed give me the category view.

However, when I try to back out to the main menu, the first step will always return me to mymovies with a by title listing view before going back to the menu.

Every next visit to mymovies will default to the title listing from that moment. I am running 4.2.6a

Actually the last view is always stored end used for next visit... Do you prefer to always return to the default view if it exist ? Does the default view override the last view used ?
as a temporary solution, you can quit whenever you want by 'U' key press. So if you press on the view by category, you'll return here.

I would like to stick to the view by category indeed. I can override by jumping back to the menu using the remote though, just thought it was odd. The last view does seem to override the default view and strangely on backing out of mymovies, there is a step (list by name) that wasn't there 'going in' (maybe because of how we get into the default view?)
