I hope this is the right forum to post this - if not feel free to move it..

When recording a series every day (week) these get put into a folder (i.e. BBC1 - name of program etc.) and displayed as a folder in MP. When you want to delete all these recordings one has to delete each one individually which can be very cumbersome, it doesn't allow you to delete the entire folder from within the MP menu ... It would be nice to be able to select the folder (i.e BBC1 - program name) and be able to delete it (with all the records inside).

Unless I am doing something wrong but I haven't been able to find a way to do that yet...

This is still something that I'd love to be able to do and can't. This is the only thread I've managed to unearth on the topic and it's two years old. I'm guessing the feature is still on the wish list?

As far as I can see, this is still lacking from MP 1.7.
Is deleting recordings one by one still the only way?

Ah, so four years on and nothing's changed. Figures. Just confirms I made the right decision moving to XBMC two years ago (where this feature already existed when I migrated).

I am also looking at moving to XMBC ...

Wouldn't it be easier to set a "keep until" on the series?
