Dear friends,

I'm using the lovely mediaportal and I'm enjoying it very much.
The sound of the MP3 songs is excellent!

I also have MediaMonkey which have lower sound quality, but it helps handling a lot of songs having the option to delete them while being played.
You can delete a song you don't like from the main program, not only from the playlist but also from the HDD.

Is there an option to do that in Mediaortal?

Thank you very much,

Ilan.

    Hi there and welcome :)

You can bring up the context menu (i on remote), select File Menu, then delete.

If you expand the General section in MPConfiguration, you will see a screen for FileMenu settings.

    Hi!
I tried to play a song, then hit i on the keyboard and nothing happened.
I looked at the General section on the configuration and saw the FileMenu option selected.

I'm using MediaPortal 1.1.0.0 is it ok?

    Thank you very much,

    Ilan.

I tried to hit F9 (on now playing) and received just - 1. Add to Favorites, 2. Add this album to playlist, 3. Copy now playing spam to clipboard
I could not find any option to delete the file now played.
I tried to hit F9 on the playlist and nothing happened.

Thank you again for your kind help!

    Ilan.

I did not realize you want to do it from now-playing screen.

I think the context menu will only be available in the normal list while browsing songs (not playlist).

    Sorry
