Dell MCE remote control for MP? (1 Viewer)

i'd highly recommend getting the mce remote with the teletext buttons (4 coloured buttons down the bottom). it will give you much more flexibility for adding new commands and shortcuts then the standard US mce remote!

Basically the one you posted above works. It's a default Microsoft Philips MCE 2005 remote. But zompiepig is right. Better get one with the coloured teletext buttons. That version of the MCE remote offers 5 additional buttons. Quite handy usually, they are mapped to some useful features in MP by default. (e.g. toggle fullscreen video/tv, change subtitle/audio track on DVD and AVIs, etc, etc)

That's an MCE2004 remote. Works as well, but I wouldn't recommend it. The MCE2005 is much more ergonomic and looks way better. Never counted the buttons on the 2004 remote, tho... But despite of that, I'd recommend an MCE2005 remote. (I think the 2004 didn't have backlight, not sure if it can learn commands for your TV set, etc...)
