Different audio delay for mkv and divx? (1 Viewer)

Hi,
The video playback is a litte behind the audio, when I play mkv files, so I've added a 200 ms delay to the audio in ffdshow audio config. However the audio and video are in sync when I watch a divx/xvid file, so my delay now causes the video to be ahead. How can I fix this? (Without have to change the delay everytime... ;))
I've installed SAF4.0 and are using SPDIF passthrough.

    Hi there,

I had issues with audio/sync, but mine was not for specific types - I simply added a generic 190ms delay to ffdshow audio output.

If you want to handle specific types with individual delays, you need to use ffdshow audio profiles with automatic switching - with each profile having its own delay.

You can configure it to switch based on source filter.

Yeah, I've set up ffdshow to auto-switch profiles based on the audio codec being used (e.g. DTS switches to a profile where I've set a delay of 170ms). Works pretty well, but it would be nice to also have a slider within MP, just like XBMC has. I guess that's difficult to do since you 'oursource' the decoding to other apps like ffdshow.
