Hi all,
First, I'll put out the fact that I'm a Newbie to the Media Portal software, but I am computer literate.
I have a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1800 installed in a dou-core system running Windows XP Pro. I am in the Vancouver, Canada area and use a Shaw cable system. Using the MediaPortal - TV Server configuration I am able to scan and recieve all the Analog channels in my area, but the Digital channels are a no show? I do reviece these channels using my Shaw cable box so I am subscribed to the Digital service.
If I scan for channels using the "ATSC WinTV 885 BDA Tuner" and "QAM Standard" I get channels but they don't have a signal and show up as "Unknown 517250-30", "Unknown 517250-31", "Unknown 517250-32", etc and when I preview them I get a "no audio/video detected" message.
One other thing that may be relevant, I have my cable wire coming from the wall to a splitter, then one cable line to the "TV/Cable Ant" input on the card and the other coming from the splitter as well to the "DTV Ant" input on the card.
Any help would be appriciated
Thanks
