I'm currently looking for a replacement for my FireDTV-cards, and I contacted a webshop that specialises in HTPC-parts here in Norway, and they suggested the two sollutions in the headline, the DDCCT and the DFCTO.

Aparently the DDCCT will make it possible to have the two tuners share one CAM, while the DFCTO needs one CAM for each tuner.

I already have 2 CAMS so that's not really an issue for me atm.

Anyone have any experiences With the two cards? I read in the DDCCT-thread that they were sensitive to signal strength, is that a big issue? Is it the same With the DFCTO?

Cine CT v6. Above are my thoughts from a while ago. I'm still happy with it, although I still have problems with renewing the scrambled channels subscription, which happens every month. I have to test it with a different module, but I've been lazy. The one I borrowed from work did the same thing, but I would not trust it, since it's a "generic" module. I haven't noticed any major issues with the card itself

I'm using a Octopus PCIe Bridge, with two DuoFlex CT tuner cards (=4 tuners) and two single CI's. Right now I'm only using one tuner on each DouFlex, (I don't need 4 tuners). Enabling only one of the tuners (in the Digital Devices settings) is also the only configuration that will give card updates. Maybe that's the solution to your problems FrankDrebin?

The only issue I have is that if I'm recording a channel and start another channel I sometimes gets artifacts. This is solved by starting and stopping the channel untill it is OK...

But all in all I'm very happy, and so is my wife, she hated the unstable MDAPI we used to have :)

Hmm, I'm going to try that. I rarely need two tuners at the same time, although it would be nice to have such an option. Thanks for the tip! :)
