DigitalDevices - Quad Tuner (V5) (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I am slowly building a new HTPC.

It consists of:

Asus M4A89TD Pro USB3 Motherboard
AMD 910e CPU
Sapphire HD6670 graphics

All the above works fine.

I then add my Digital Devices Duoflex Cine S2 V5 card and the HTPC boots ok and finds the tuner

I then add the S2 tuner expansion card to the Duoflex Cine S2 V5 card (connects via a short ribbon cable from the main card) to give me 4 tuners in total.

This is where I have problems. The HTPC wont even boot past the BIOS. The motherboard sits there with just the VGA LED diagnostics light on????

I know the Digital Devices card (complete with 4 tuners) has previously worked in another machine.

I will try and put it into another machne and see what happens.

Anyone else had any problems with the card hanging the HTPC?

I will email DD and see if they have any ideas...

Dumb question: have you plugged in the power?

Did you plug the ribbon cable in the right way? IIRC my DuoFlex prevented a successful POST when I got the cable orientation wrong. Not that I discovered this until after I'd buried the card under a CPU cooler...

Hi guys,

DD replied to my email (great service)....

Its all working now (well I can see 4 tuners in Mepo) - Havent tried beyond that.

You were both right! (I'm a dumbass) lol
