Hello all, and a big thanks to everyone that helped make Media Portal such a great product I am truly amazed at all the things my HTPC is gonna be able to do.
The problem I am having is that when watching tv I can't seem to directly change to a channel by keying the numbers on the remote.
example pressing 4 then 3 to go to channel 43.
I built my serial port infra-red reciever module from scratch and I am running winlirc. remote seems to be working fine in all other areas.
I originally thought maybe I didn't have the numbers programmed right it the winlirc plugin but I have been all through the config and can't find anywhere else to configure it.

The other issue I am having is when playing back a video either xvid or divx the fastforward and rewind are messed up it shows one video frame the counter advances about a minute or so and then it shows another frame, real jerky and definitly not smooth like ff and rewinding TV that seems fine.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me

Jeff

Can someone at least confirm that changing channels by using
the numbers works?

If anyone is using winlirc I would like to know what they did to get the channel changing to work properly.
