It is no more possible to play Soft-Subtitled MKV using the DirectVobSub Subtitle Engine. It worked until svn snapshot 23831. The mantis bugfix that is possibly responsible for this is 2513 (Subtitle engine has hard coded paths).

The error in the error log is:
Code:
2009-12-02 09:46:27.640625 [ERROR][MPMain]: VideoPlayer9:exception while creating DShow graph Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt. bei MediaPortal.Player.Subtitles.DirectVobSubUtil.AddToGraph(IGraphBuilder graphBuilder, String filename)

Confirmed - and caused by graph release bug fixing not path fix. Will check this.

That Core.dll works fine with the VSFilter 2.39 from CCCP 2009-09-09.

    Hi,

for me this core.dll works too :)! But... I realised that with the new core.dll I get no kontext menu, when a movie has startetd, e.g. to change the subtitels or the audiostream within the running movie!?! Changing back to MPC-HC as subtitles renderer solves this behavior! With the old core.dll the kontext menu workes for both subtitle renderers.

Attached some logs in case there is something that could help:

Context-Menu to change subtitles works for me, are you talking about that menu where you also can set bookmarks, change chapters and such?

(This Core.dll may still not be fully compatible to the latest weekly build as it probably is built based on the current developer svn at the time Manfred fixed it, after all it was inteded for testing not for use)

    Hi,

I mean the context menu you get, when you use the right mouse button watching a movie.

Furthermore I found out that using the right mouse button works everytime and I get the context menu, with my remote too (using MPC-HC fpr subtitles), but with vsfilter, only the click on the right mouse button gets the context menu, using the same button on my remote, that worked bevore (with mpc-hc as subtitles filter) I get no context menu!?! Totally strange to me, isn't it?

So I'm now not sure if it has something to do with the new core.dll because using the old one doesn't play the movies that won't show the context menu using my remote and vsfilter?

    Anybody a clue:confused:

PS: Hope I'm not posting in the wrong thread now?!
