Disable timeshifting? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
I've just installed Media Portal and I'm very impressed with it except that the picture stutters every few seconds when I'm watching tv. I have this problem on my tv tuner software as well but when I disable timeshifting, on my tv tuner software, this stuttering goes away & I get a perfect picture. Is there some way of disabling the timeshift feature in Media Portal?

im sorry but there is no possibility to disable timeshift with tve3.

it might be possible with the inbuilt tv engine but i dont use it so cant confirm.

inbuilt tv engine is last included in 1.0.2 so give it a try. with 1.1.0alpha you definately will not find be able.

Hi all, especially developers!
I think "disable timeshifting" option is good thing to implement. Now there a lot of devices on Atom platform that can be used with MP. My Acer Revo is really good platform for MP (it can decode HD content well) but with IPTV i have an annoying lags which are related to timeshifting features. If there a vote for features of new versions of MP, i vote for "disable timeshift"!

I vote for "Get MP1.1 out the door, and concentrate on MPII!"

I believe that disabling TS would require much work, and that most ppl would use TS at all time anyhow.

While you are concentrated at MPII may be it's time to review architecture of MPII and make possible to disable TS without of "lot of work" ?
Unfortuantly i don't have a time to view sources of MP, so if i'll have 2 or more free days on my vocations i'll try to find the way to patch souces. May be it's not a "lot of work"
