Disabling and enabling MCE (2 Viewers)

Hi Lehmden

That's how I'm currently using my netbook. But in my lounge I have an MCE extender connected to my main TV which would need to be replaced with the expense of another PC to make full use of MP. I'm too wedded to my extender at the moment. The thread here https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...client-tv-server-82442/index5.html#post737165 suggests that the MCE plugin for MP is not currently working.

Sorry, I misunderstood this. I thought you mend to buy some extra hardware to watch TV in the Garden, where you can use your Netbook instead...

As long as the MCE Client for MePo TV Server isn't ready I think you have to stuck with manual starting TVServer as you do it right now.

BTW, what kind of TV or Monitor do you use with the Extender in Lounge? Is it integrated to Extender? Maybe we can use this for MePo also, perhaps with a little nettop connected to...

It's an LCD Panasonic Viera digital TV, not integrated with the extender, just connected to it by an HDMI cable, and the audio output of the TV is connected to my stereo system.

So later you can easily change the Extender to a cheap Nettop like Foxconn NetBox-nT330i (just an example of what I mean). On Atom based Nettops it's important they have the ION/ION2 Chipset. The normal Intel Chipset did not do it well due to missing GPU Power...
