Hello,

I am using the QBox II USB external DVB-S2 tuner. It works perfectly well with the supplied BDA drivers, however, I am having problems getting it to move my satellite dish.

I suppose this must be a minor issue as ProgDVB moves the dish with no issues.

The device drivers can be downloaded from here (at the bottom of the page): USB DVB-S2 Q-Box II

There is also an SDK which can be downloaded from here (also at the bottom of the page): Digital Media Expert

Is there any way a fix for the diseqc problem could be included in a future release?

Many thanks,

Libor

Hello,

I see nobody has replied yet. Could someone from the dev team or forum moderators please hint me on why that can be? Should I include more information to my post? Is the hardware I am using too rare to be included?

Thanks a lot,

Libor

I know this is an old thread, but are you still using MediaPortal?
Do you still have the QBOX and satellite dish with motor?

I'd be happy to try and get DiSEqC working but I don't have a QBOX myself...

    Hi,

yes, I still have it and I have managed to make it work under Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. DiseqC does position the dish automatically and all works well.
I am not using it very extensively as I have switched more to using the OnlineVideos plugin rather than live tv. Also, I had some problems getting some TV Server plugins (their name should not be said on this forum) to work properly but I think that was more me (and my gf even more so) being fed up with spending my time on tweaking the sat reception...

I may actually pick it up again eventually and make the plugins in question work but I have little time for it now.
