I scheduled the record for a TV series as "daily at this time" with max 7 episodes.
The log says
---
24.06.2007 18:52:02 4 diskmanagement: recording Franklin - Eine Schildkröte erobert die Welt ended. type:Daily max episodes:5
24.06.2007 18:52:02 4 diskmanagement: Delete episode TvDatabase.Channel Franklin - Eine Schildkröte erobert die Welt Dienstag, 19. Juni 2007 18:36:04
---

but on disk the file "Franklin - Eine Schildkröte erobert die Welt--2007-06-19-18_40.ts" still exists.

I tried several SVNs in the last months, but this issue always exists. I can hardly believe that no one noticed that before... so I think I do something wrong... but what?
Or is it a bug?

I wonder that nobody replies on this... I think this is an important issue.
Or if I do something wrong, please tell me what.

Fact is that TV server currently does not delete old records, that means when I go to vacation for two weeks it will crash due to missing hdd space.

I see an entry in SVN that this was fixed, but it still doesn't work for me :-( Can anyone confirm.

e.g. Record "One New at 6" > Advanced>"Every time On this Channels" + Episode Management keep 2 episodes.

But old ones don't get deleted.

I get this in the log when somthing stops recording:

    Code:
    19/09/2007 7:10:14 p.m. A diskmanagement: recording 3 News ended. type:Once max episodes:2

Nothing gets deleted and I can tell you there are a lot more than 2 episodes it's got like the last 10 days worth. I wonder has it got something to do with the fact that above it says "type:Once" even though the schedule is "Every time on this channel" ??? Anyone else able to re-produce this?

Has anyone got enough disk space to schedule a daily news bulletin to record "every time on this channel" and the set the episode management to keep only 2 episodes? Just to try to confirm this fault.

Like JulianBuss above, I'm surprised no one uses this feature I think it's really great, well it would be if it worked! :)

Yeah it was because the check for whether or not to do episode management was ignoring type "Once" when it shouldn't becuase "Everytime on x Channel" schedules use a tpye "once" schedule to record the show"

I've submitted a patch to fix this problem:)
