TV - HTPC Connection: VGA to S-video 4:3 (Grandtec PC to Video EZ)
This happened once, late last night, have not repeated for test yet, but thought I'd post it anyway.
Was watching one recorded TV program, and when done, started a second recorded program. The program started, but the GUI did not switch to video display, the RecordedTV screen was frozen.
- I stopped the recorded program with the remote and I could hear live TV playing in the background (I had initially gone to RecordedTV with live TV playing in the video-overlay), but the RecordedTV GUI was still there, and stuck.
- I stopped LiveTV with the remote (blind, as the yes/no dialog did not display). The display changed to the TV Home screen and was functional.
- I went back to RecordedTV from there and tried to start the program over again, but an error message dialog came up telling me the codec was wrong- or missing (I don't remember)
- I exited MP and restarted, went to RecordedTV and everything played correctly.
I haven't been able to get it to happen again.... yet.
Still trying.
