I upgraded my motherboard yesterday, and after that when I play xvid files in MP the file plays, but I only get audio and a black screen. This also happened with TS files, but I was able to fix this by changing the video codec in MP config to ATI MPEG2 Renderer. This didn't work with the divx files.
I am able to play the same file in Windows Media Player and it works perfectly.
I was thinking of reinstallling RC3, but was unsure of how to go about it as the installer won't let me reinstall - the only option was "fresh install". I don't want to have to reinstall all my plugins etc unless I reallly have to.
Any help would be appreciated.
