My problem is quite strange.(Sorry about my english, I hope you will understand the problem)
I had an older version of MP installed (system XP SP2) and noticed that weather data can't be downloaded. I have found that the DNS service is not working after MP starts. Any network name couldn't be resloved to ip. Solution was to stop MP, start services, select DNS service (was running, everything looks normally). Restart the DNS service and start MP. There are no other programs installed on this computer, only MP and device drivers and multimedia codecs.
14 days ago I completely reinstalled the system with a new hard drive and latest version of MP, win xp sp2. Everything worked. Now I have noticed the same problem. DNS service looks like it's running, but it does not work. I have to shutdown MP every time computer boots, restart DNS service and start MP again.
Any suggestions???
