Hello,
I have a MediaPortal 1.2.x client-server environment and installation of plugins/extensions aren't very obvious.
With that I mean if a plugin is designed to be installed at the server and no client need or the opposite, if it's only a client/frontend component it should say so....and mixture of it
Request/Suggestion: I suggest that the plugin-directory should have this information, to contributors are "forced" to enter the information
Extra geek value : Then it would be nice to have a "template" that described the high-level architecture (simple Visio diagrams/paint image with some boxes and arrows)
So this is my 20-cents and since I have been working as IT Architect for the last decade, I can guess that other's with less experience can have a bigger challenge
