Just wondering if the internal player decodes aac sbr? I searched the forums and did not find any definative answer. The reason I ask is my entire DVD libray was encoded with aac HE+ SBR and if the internal player does not support SBR then it will be using 24khz sampling rate instead of the improved 48khz rate with SBR (original source was AC3 5.1 48khz).

I'm not familiar with HE+SBR, but the internal player is DirectShow based, meaning it will play stuff according to filters used (like FFDShow, CyberLink, MPC-HC etc.).

This makes it highly flexible regarding playback.

I enabled ffdshow for the audio codec and it now plays my HE+ SBR aac files correctly at 48khz...
