does media portal automatically change tags? (1 Viewer)

I have a music collection that is perfectly tagged and formatted exactly as I want it. A lot of programs try to change the tags/folders/etc. when you add it to their library. Does media portal do this? Will it leave them untouched if I take them off of read only?

The devs dont want to ruin peoples tags so mediaportal will only read the tags
