Does media Portal record in High Definition ?? (1 Viewer)

Just would like to know if it records the native settings. HD in my Country Australia is 1920by1080. Though most trasmit at 1440by1080.

Where are the settings i can chnage these and how to record the native siginal iam getting and not down sample it any ?

/PS also whats the formats i can save to..Tp. TS ect. I did a recording and it saves to .dvr-ms format.

Please god not another format to duck me arround when i have to convert and reencode it

Recordings are in DVR-MS and you record HD by recording from your channels HD channel.
