Worked quite well here with a HVR1300. Only thing is that sometimes I was not able to stop livetv because of a bug/timing issue in Hauppauge WinTv drivers.

I have not been able to get the wintv-ci to work. I have a hauppauge hvr-900h. The CI module is recognized but, as soon as mediaportal starts to "talk" to the ci-module Windows hangs with a bsod and reboots. I´ve tryed every driver around and both vista and xp. Same result every single time.

In vista i noticed that it was hcw11bda.sys wich is the driver to the cimodule that coused the trouble.

I´m getting nuts on this problem. So, if you got it to work. Please tell me how! =)

But, did you use it with a Hauppauge hvr900h? I never got it to work. The longest I came was to channel scan. Did not find any channels and then the computer rebooted with bluescreen. =(

Even tried to change ram. Well, i returned the package now anyhow. Shame though since I got a great price for it. About 90 dollars for usb stick (900h), Ci module and remote. :(
