is there someway of doing without the installer in RC3? You could unpack previous packages and install them manually, but not anylonger.
The installer refuses to realize that I have the 2008 SP1 C++ package (which work perfectly fine for applications requiring 2005).
I cannot use the 2005 package, since that will break another application.
