Morning all - Wondering if anybody can help me out with this -

Problem : When playing a file that has a stereo MP3 soundtrack ripped from a Dolby Pro Logic source, it's not outputting properly via my soundcard's analog connections (5.1 via 6 coax cables). It's just doing some expanded stereo.

However, when I was running it via HDMI audio to the TV, then relayed out the TV's TOSLINK output, the Pro Logic was being properly decoded at my receiver (Even running the same videos on my Xbox w/ XBMC the proper ProLogic audio comes through). So I'm assuming the mp3 audio decoder is just applying stereo expansion to the "stereo" mp3 file, instead of trying to decoder the ProLogic properly. Anybody know if it's possible to set it to recognize ProLogic?

Dolby Digital + DTS work fine.

Thanks!
